Control and Restraint - Module 3
The Control & Restraint training is a progression on from Conflict Management and Disengagement Training.
It enables the student to safely and humanely control and detain or escort and eject a refractory aggressor.
The techniques rely on working against the bodys own mechanics and as such require no superior level of
strength and do not rely on size or gender.
The techniques have been reduced to a small number of easily remembered moves enabling ease of retention and use.
Includes use of force theory.
The use of graded response levels to be implemented proportionate to the level of aggression threatened results in a positive and justified application of force whilst still promoting the desire to de-escalate.
